On June 16, our partners from F6S Innovation hosted the synergy webinar, featuring 9 EU-funded initiatives, The Green Blueprint: Investing in a Nature-Positive Economy for Europe, under the EU Green Week programme. By exploring the innovations connecting Agriculture, Construction, and Energy, it was possible to catch a firsthand glimpse of a collaborative, nature-friendly future for Europe.
PaluWise’s contributions
Kristiina Lång, our teammate from Natural Resources Institute Finland (Luke), beautifully represented the project and our 4 European demonstration sites.

Key insights
Professor Brian Norton reminded us that buildings don’t use energy, their occupants do. True decarbonisation must balance sustainability with affordability, resilience, and human health. This means a human-centric energy transition.
Technology and nature can thrive together. The projects INNO4CFIs Project, PaluWise, and AgRimate demonstrated how combining greentech using AI and robotics with nature-based solutions (such as paludiculture on rewet peatlands), it’s possible to restore ecosystems while supporting our farmers.
The construction sector is embracing circularity. SNUG EU showcased the great potential of bio-based materials and AI decision-support tools to create highly efficient, low-emission insulation. Similarly, SpurUp presented the bridge of rural-urban divide, transforming peri-urban zones into hubs of climate-neutral innovation through decarbonization and smart governance.
STREP is working hard to impact the textile industry with AI-driven sorting and recycling to achieve 100% closed-loop recycled yarn from post-consumer waste.
Through TWAIN Project, it was possible to gain some insights into the future of clean power generation, with its AI-powered wind farm control to optimise plant performance and asset management. Additionally, INFERNO Project is turning high-temperature industrial waste heat into electricity using an innovative solid-state hybrid system.
Finally, Sea4Volt is pioneering green hydrogen production via direct seawater electrolysis, creating clean fuel without competing with precious freshwater resources.
Until next time!
Lorem Ipsum is simply dummy text of the printing and typesetting industry. Lorem Ipsum has been the industry’s standard dummy text ever since the 1500s, when an unknown printer took a galley of type and scrambled it to make a type specimen book. It has survived not only five centuries, but also the leap into electronic typesetting, remaining essentially unchanged. It was popularised in the 1960s with the release of Letraset sheets containing Lorem Ipsum passages, and more recently with desktop publishing software like Aldus PageMaker including versions of Lorem Ipsum.
